My hermit crab absolutely loved this food. We were feeding him the dried shrimp, which he hated, and the second we put this food out for him he ate it immediately. I will be buying more. Thanks for the sample and being able to try this.

Ok u should have 1 or 2 crabs per galoln tank you have, You shouldn’t give them tap water becase chlorine in it can harm them u should bye this stuff at the pet store ask them if the have anything to take the chlorine out of water for hermit crabs, you also need sand or gravel (rock) for them fill the cage with approxitly 2 to 4 and a half inches u will need a sponge for them and a food and water dish do not use anything metal use maybe a seashell or u can perchuse a dish at the pet sotre make shur the water dish isnt to deep becase they can drown, the water should be shallow they are cold blooded so they need a heater, the temputure should be kept to round 70 to 80 the and shouldn’t be to much under or to much over when they are fdully grown they can get to be about the size of a softball or baseball but it all depends make hur u have extra shells in the cage they should be a little bit bigger than the crab and the opening should be about the size of the hermit crab’s big claw its ok if its a little bit bigger, they should be misted once or twice a day when a hermit crab starts to get lkess active one of the reasons could be it’s getting ready to molt, molting is when they shed they exoskelton (skin) if i said it right and they will start to dig in the gravel or sand when this happens do not disturb them they are more likely to be stressed and if u bother them to much at that time they could die so its best to leave them alone, ok for food u can go to ur local pet storee and bye commercial food it will say hermit crab food on it if ur not shur ask someome at the pet store to help you out the also will eat fruit’s sych as bananas, apples, mango’s and grapes, not all hermit crabs may like thes things, if u need any help with any thing u can email me at
